Boozy Mint Hot Chocolate
Ingredients:
- ¾ cup milk (or non-dairy milk)
- ½ cup brewed coffee
- 1 oz. dark chocolate
- 2 tablespoons cocoa powder
- 1 tablespoon maple syrup
- 2 drops peppermint extract
- 1 oz. dark rum
- Whipped cream, for topping
- Chocolate sauce, for topping
Directions:
- Combine the milk and coffee in a small saucepan and bring to a simmer over low heat. Add the dark chocolate and whisk to melt.
- Stir in the cocoa powder, maple syrup, and peppermint extract. Remove from heat and add the rum.
- Pour the boozy mint hot chocolate into a mug and top with whipped cream and chocolate sauce.
